Plastic Napoleonics (3 Viewers)

I figured out what to do with the Dulcop figures. They are toys so they are getting the glossy treatment. Pics will follow. Course I could always just cut their heads off:eek:

Yep,

But you'd have to do it with a 1/32 scale guillotine for that element of period authenticity:D

\Do you happen to have one laying around? Maybe we could make one from a safety blade? Thay would be interesting, gory, but interesting:eek:

I tried replacing the guillotine blade with a safety blade as suggested.

Not quite sure why they call it a 'safety' blade.

Anyway, once I got back from the casualty department, I thought that perhaps there's a reason the blade is plastic - maybe to stop curious adults from removing digits.

Twisted aint he? My kind a guy!
My buddy came by the shop the other day while I was fine tuning the mold for my Russian 12 pounder and 2nd batch of crewmen. I had a small pile of miscasts, some wheels that didnt come out, one axle on the carriage to short, and some miscast gunners without an arm or missing both legs. He promptly made a grim little scene of a wrecked cannon and armless, legless Russian gunners flailing about. Says he," See one must find the good in any situation"
Okay Edward the Longshanks, you can have them.
He sad he would take them to the beachhouse{ where he paints while the rest of the family actually goes to the beach} and bring them back next week.
Can't wait.

Wraith where oh where did you get those great figures? Not to mention the guillotine. Please, please tell me they are still available.

Classic toy soldiers{ CTS} has all the Airfix 1/32 available.
Fubar

Oh Kilted One,
Nice work. I need to branch out more and look at other manufacturers.

As Fubar the Horrible said, all 4 sets of the Airfix Waterloo series are available from CTS or on eBay by the regiment. The guillotine was stolen / liberated from my 5 yr old. It was included as one of many accessories in a new medieval, non branded, playset. I've seen them still knocking about over this side of the water.

I would hasten to add that no plastic figures were disfigured during the execution (sorry:D ) of this photograph.

Except the one with his head lopped off. And the one with his feet skimmed, about to lose a fairly important part of his anatomy. Oh, and the geezer at the back who had to have his musket cut from his hands to be replaced with a rope.

But apart from that, absolutely none were harmed.

Do you know, I can see a business oportunity arising here....The Kilted Vampire, Wraith, Fubar the Horrible....'mangling figures for the twisted delight of others....'

We could call ourselves.....'Monsters Inc'!

Ooh, hang on, I can see a potential problem with that.

How about 'Monsters...er....Pinc', no, 'Pink'. No wait, 'The Pink Mon....' no, that ain't gonna work either. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Fubar, looking forward to seeing what your friend does with your mangled remains (well, not yours, but your cast offs).

Wraith,
Co-director of Monsters Encumberated.

Mmmm.....catchy.
