Hi All,

This is a recent estate sale fine.
Would like to know the maker and country.
Looks French?
Height 152 mm
Cant find anything like it on the net.
Any help appreciated.

152mm in height? Fifteen-point-two cm? Interesting! I've never seen anything like it. I do agree that it depicts a French soldier. Is it solid or does it feel like it's hollow?

It's solid and 152mm. 6 inches. Weighs almost 1lb.
 
My guess is that it might be an Italian infantryman. As some units used were issued with Adrian helmets like Belgians but to my knowledge the belt mounted cartridge boxes might be the clue. I am not an expert on allied uniforms. I would look at some uniform information about these different armies. maybe contact their respective army museums. No idea on the manufacturer. Maybe someone at an army museum might know who you could talk to. Good luck.
