Please inform me of forum problems (3 Viewers)

What's the difference between the New Posts link and the What's New? link? It's not clear to me.

It may be because when I come on the forum at work I don't have to sign in.At home when I go off the internet and come back on it I have to log in even though I always hit remember me.

The private messages page shows the number of messages out of 50 allowed at the bottom of the page. It can get lost down there and peoples boxes can fill up without their noticing. The number of messages bar used to be at the top of the page. Can it be moved back up there?

Moving all of the dioramas to the diorama section is technically correct. But it makes for a very large, cumbersome directory where dioramas get quickly pushed off the page. Was there any specific reason to move the dioramas from the manufacturer's section? I much prefer the old way

I wondered that as not all have been moved the small desert one is still there. How do you distinguish if the scene is supposed to showcase K&C products rather than the dio being the centre of attraction??

I see I was sent a private message because i recieved notification on my email account, but when I go to my private messages theres nothing?
Am I missing something?

Are you going to the PM area through the 'Notifications' at the top of the page or the 'Private Messages' under the 'forum' tab?
 
I went directly to the private messages to my inbox, nothing there, I after reading your post tried thru notifications and it shows no new messages.
The message was from desk11desk12, Carlos
 
I sent a PM the other day...did you get it?

How many PM's do you have in your box?

I tried to add photos to my album and was unable to do so. The "old" way resized the photos for me automatically, but the "new" does not. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I increased the allowed size for these images..let me know if it fixes things.

Actually....I have no idea! It's happening to me too, but if it's not a problem I may not go through the hassle of finding the bit of wonky code (I'm a preacher...not an IT guy ^&grin)

Earlier today I work on creating a new photo album in my profile title My Conte Zouves. You'll note that I was able to upload the 11 photos of my Zouves sets which I thought I was adding to the album it appeared that I had but you'll note the album is showing no photos. Can you inform me how I cn load the 11 photos to the album. For me I've found it a hassel in adding photos to albums with the new system and thought I had sloved the problem...............Joe The Lt.

Joe all I can think of is that the picture you were trying to post were too large. So it created the album but didn't add the photos. The uploader should warn you that the photos are too large however. It isn't like the older version where it would resize them for you. Give it a try and see.

Scott I resized the photos as I have in the past prior to the latest changes an wasn't warn that the were rejected because of size. One of the photos did appear in the album but it no longer shows......Joe
 
That is a puzzler then, I just added a couple of photos to an album with no problem. Have you tried adding to the album now that it is created?

Scott how do I add the 11 photos I show an have in my existing files of the figures I uploded earlier.

HI Joe

I think if you go to the album and click add photos that little upload box will pop up. If you look they maybe in there. If not then you will have to upload them again.

Scott I've done that and the photos are not there. It states also that I can drag the photos which are in my exisiting files to attach them but that's not happening when I try to drag a photo. Thanks for your help but before I give it another shot by adding the 11 photos which will appear once more in my exisiting files maybe Peter or Shannon can check into the problem I'm having. Thanks Buddy.
