The Collectors Showcase is vey pleased to preview our newest Napoleonic addition, Polish Lancers. Our newest edition ushers in our greatest product enhancement yet: connoisseur paint.

After much work with our factory we've developed dry brush and wash techniques that evoke a Petersburg level of quality to our already fantastic pieces. We went through time consuming trial and error to develop our own top grade finish. Best of all we've used our pricing power to ensure it doesn't increase the price one bit. Great news for all of us!

These sets will become available at the end of July. You may pre-order them from us ( products will be on our website with a suprise you haveto be registered for , just go to: www.thecollectorsshowcase.com and register, ) or from one of our exclusive dealers.

Enjoy the preview, and look for more fantastic images from this set when they are added to our website in 2-3 weeks.

Happy Collecting to one and all!:)

Great release............
Gives the competition a jolt!
Remember French infantry for the future.

These lancers are spectacular and I can say they will be my first Napoleonic figures. What can I say, another line to collect. Oh well, bring it on. Napoleon rules! -- lancer

Beautiful figures Brian, you've taken your figures up yet another notch. The preorders are coming in already, so thanks for the announcement........what a year for Napoleonics between Collectors Showcase, K & C, First Legion and Britains, what choices and variety being offered by all of these companies..............

Nice poses but some of the horse ears seem overlarge, of course it could be some photo effect.

Gorgeous figures.

Your dry brush and wash techniques add a truely amazingly realistic look to your great figures.

I have been avoiding this line, but you're making it really hard for me to resist them.

The sculpting on these new releases looks like a big improvement, too.

These appear to be an advancement over the Lancers currently available and an improvement in the faces of the riders for sure. The horses look pretty good to me, the ears are within proportional variations you see in various European breeds but perhaps are a bit too similar in position across the different figure sets. I can't tell about the leg coloring from this picture. White socks generally don't have the variations shown but perhaps the apparent blotches are to simulate mud and dirt, which definitely does happen. Congratulations on a nice new addition to the period.

Overall I think they are really cool. I will defer my horse comments to Bills as his experience surpasses mine. But Bill, when I get a chance how about looking at some of my horses?

Some of these will no doubt end up in my collection. How soon will they be released?

I was waiting for polish lancers! - The last K&C Red lancers wasn't been soooo interesting in poses and "flair", and - it is a question of space and also money, and perhaps I do not need 30 different Lancers from various companies - I thuoght, First Legion will bring the polish lancers. - Now I see these CS riders... and since three days are the CS 24' artillery set on one of my Zulu battlefields and they are SO GOOD! And I think I will get these polish guys from CS!
That's what I wrote in an earlier message: the smaller companys, the newer companies are giving the wright trill, new inspirations, new dynamic - just THE SPIRIT!

These Lancers look great - I will took a closer look - but, I am thinking of getting them.

Congrats - Great Job.

Regards, Ron

These look great! Very dynamic and colorful. Great for dioramas. Thanks for the addition to this range!

You really hit on what we're trying to achieve with our pieces. In regards to dioramas. I really try to see eveything through the lens of the diorama. Action, interactivity: so that one is building a cohesive self interacting " set " that conveys a real story.

With the new painting we hope that folks that see these collections really feel they are looking at a custom museum quality display.

Cheers all, thanks for the feedback and pre-sales! Could this be our first sell out when they arrive?, it certainly seems so.:)

Happy Collecting!

Brian
