Polish Winged Hussars (1 Viewer)

Zach and Gebhard thank you for your kindly comments.

I just found this page http://www.soldiers-miniatures-museum.ru/ Many many fantastic figures with info about producers, it is really worth to see.
A friend of me told me that it belongs to a rich person in Russia who own them and most of the collection is from 10 years ago and more.
Also Polish Winged Hussars (bigger and more valuable/better quality collection then mine) under Europe XVII-XVIII centuries/Poland.

Janusz,
This is a gorgeous figure. I do not recognize the sculpt. Was this a special commission piece? Congratulations and thank you for sharing the photos.

Hussar is from Bijato Miniatures, sold by Ralf Topfer from Muritz-Miniaturen in Germany. Horse is from another kit - Seil Models hussar.

No I didn't! I'm not an artist. This figure was painted by artist working for Spbsouvenir studio in St. Petersburg.

It's a fabulous piece of work. You must have a few Winged Hussars by now.

Thanks for sharing your collection Janusz. You have a superb collection and skill. I particularly enjoyed Vienna 1683.

As always I'm amazed by the quantity of small details

But something is completely wrong :
a cap floating behind indicating speed but the flag is hanging straight, the cavalier to static and the horse is not galloping !!!

Flag is static but are you suggesting I should damage the beatifully hand painted flag trying to bend it? Artist made flag like that and not much I can do about this.
The rest of the figure is completely right: it was windy day and hussar is not static.
