oh yes, it's always worth a look to see what you guys were fighting about two or three years ago, some of those older threads there were definitly some fireworks:)...sammy

I voted for the "Casualty". We need some Allied dead too. But, I would much rather have some Soviet casualty or surrendering sets first. :)

M26 Pershing

Unfortunately, my personal biggest K&C wishlist item didn't even make the poll, the M26 Pershing Tank. I don't understand why the coolest looking WWII American tank, IMO, hasn't been made yet by K&C or Figarti. I realize it came very late in the war but still.

Re: M26 Pershing

Probably because of its late entry and limited action. I remember seeing some photos of Pershings in action around the town of Heilbronn, very:cool: looking tank. Would be nice to have something besides a Sherman, even if it was a late comer!

My favorite didn't make the list either. I vote for the BD-72 Switchboard! :)

My grandfather operated one of these until he was wounded in Belgium.

That gives me an idea! With the interest in WWII special ops how about an ultra code-breaking set-up? I know it's the less glamorous rear-echelon type stuff but really fascinating. You could also do some sort of divisional/corps level cp set up.

As soon as I saw Darrell's post, that's what occurred to me also. I don't think we'll ever see it but how how about an Ultra machine. That would be tight.

Maybe KV has a mold for one! I smell a niche business opportunity:D. Seriously would be cool, even some French resistance figures radioing etc. You never Know;).

i too love the pershing tank, when forces of valor first came out with one i had ro have it,but i do wish k&c would make one at sometime....sammy

The Duplex Drive Sherman had propellers for amphibious operations together with a tarp curtain to give it extra buoyancy so it could drive straight off a Landing Ship Tank for the D-Day landings. Some of the American versions sank because they were launched to far out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DD_tank

I thought they made one of these already? Thanks Oz, How's the digging going on?

No one has done a toy/collectible DD tank. Even plastic/resin in model form the conversion is complex and time consuming (and I did mine in 1/72nd scale!).
