It is not your fault, but I do not like the early Russians
guy:(

Hi Guy

those are not the early Russians
Look at the figure on the T34/85
Andy use him again with the new T34 RA025-1 set

These are the Russians from 2005. By early, were you thinking of the 1999 Stalingrad issue?

Nice setting of figures and vehicles from my favourite range!

Yes they are from 2005, aka a previous release.2009 would be the first release. ^&cool

By 2009 I presume you mean the Cossacks. However, that's not considered a Russian or RA release but a WS release. The only Russians that have been released were in 1999 and 2005.

The older figures are bigger and heavier than the new ones ive noticed.

Sorry, meant to say 1999. {sm2}

There was another mini release...not sure if they get lumped in with the initial lot. The first group had the long coats, furry hats with the big red star. Then another group of 3-4 figs with helmets came out, not having long coats

When you look at the old T-34/85 and its fully filled track detail or lack of I cannot see how anyone can complain about the new track detail on the T-34/76??? Its not perfect now by a long way but, that old molded way they used to do them was embarrassing and poor.

There were 7 sets in the first group and they were named as the Stalingrad range. They were numbered RA001 - RA007. The first 3 sets were the ones with Winter uniform long brown coats, furry hats with a big red star. - a 4 figure command set, a 4 figure attack set and a 2 man set. Next were a T-34/76 and an SU-85. A few of the T-34s were white. The last 2 sets were 3 figure sets in in brown Spring/Summer uniforms and dark green steel helmets. I think they all came out at once, but I'm not sure about that.

The second group of Russians were called the Fall of Berlin and continued the numbering RA008 - RA015 and included the T-34/85 and figure sets in Summer uniforms.

Phantom Warrior, Those sets you mention with the furry hats and big red star attract healthy prices, when first released they were very inexpensive back then.
