Puma repaint (1 Viewer)

Here you have my repaint of Tom's Puma. I used a darker yellow to make the colour deeper and the contrasts more pronounced. The Puma will go into my Normandy "bocage" dio I am working on . The Puma is not yet completely finished . It needs to receive a wash of AK European dust when the paint is dry, before it will find its place in my dio. I will not use the original antenna because I find it too bulcky. I will make my own umbrella antenna. I have changed the decals so that they correspond with a picture I have of the 111 in Normandy belonging to the 1st company of the Panzer Aufklärungs Abteilung 2 of the LAH.I join a picture of the original TG Puma so that you can see the difference

If I could paint as professionally as you Guy, I would be changing a heap of my vehicles. My favourite camo is 'ambush', but as I have no talent is this dept would have to throw money at someone which I cannot really afford, thanks for sharing, cheers, Robin.

Mitch my friend, the wash effect is not on the vehicle yet . It is a 100% repaint in oil colours

Another awesome repaint Guy and i love the changes you made on the decals. If i could paint as well as you i would be upgrading my Puma as well including changing the decals. Looking forward to seeing the end result on a dio.

These are the figures that will go into my Normandy bocage dio. It's a mix of K&C and TGM. All will be turned into men belonging to the 1st SS Panzer Division ( LAH cuff titles) and they will all receive a repaint of their trousers . I will paint all in the SS summer camo patern
Hope to finish this dio by the end of the month ( The bocage will need a lot of work building from scratch several trees and bushes)

Here is the repaint of the first crew member (TGM) for the Puma. The figure's jacket still has to receive a SM varnish. I turned his trousers into the correct SS summer platanen camo. And I gave him the right pink piping and shoulder insignia and also completed his schutzmutze ( 1938 model) I add the original TGM figure for comparison;

Still need to put on his LAH cuff title on the left arm. No decal but a paper one and written in very small writing. And I changed the colour of his hair at last I have a German without black hair !!

Yes, I would also have repainted the pants! As I couldn t have made the summer camo, I would just have made them in black! {sm4} Good work! I also like the pink "retouches" on the shoulders and the triangle on the hat. I made a similar work on the hat in a Del prado german tanker in my dio on Kursk which I will post in future.

Second crew member also ready. (cuff title still needs to be replaced) It is a repaint of the K&C WS160 figure. He is now wearing the typical SS summer camo trousers.( original figure for comparison)
