Here is a depiction of 3 Pumas doing a reco in the Normandy countryside 1944 and yes, they are keeping a lookout for any Allied aircraft!

For those that don't know the brand of the vehicles they are:

K&C Sd.Kfz. 234/1 (with 2cm autocannon)
TG Sd.Kfz. 234/2 (with 5cm gun)
K&C Sd.Kfz. 234/3 (with 7.5cm short barrelled gun)
