Nice figures,
But they are hard to get, and just to darn expensive nuff said!
Maybe expensive but not hard to get...
the plastic is very stiff and extremely fragile, I had few sets arrive w damage and others buyers complain.
They are beautiful figures, but at the prices they charge, I am never going to buy any Basevich or Pvblivs figures. I don't even buy the ExForce figures because of the price. There are plenty of other figures out there that may not be quite as finely sculpted, but which are far more affordable. I can get two or more sets of other brands containing more soldiers for the price of only one of these sets. Also, the stories about the brittle plastic on some of these is a real turn-off. If they are going to charge that much, you should at least be assured of getting them in a nice soft and durable plastic.
Nice effort guys, but if you lowered the cost I am sure you would make much more money in the end as probably every plastics collector alive would be buying multiple sets of these great figures, rather than a small number of the wealthier guys buying one set each.
I think we all agree that the figures are well done; it's really the price that is the issue. I do want to say something about the plastic. Some of the figures are a brittle plastic (The WW2 Russians and the Vikings), but most are a soft, pliable plastic that is not subject to breakage. I have most of the Publius figures.
Steven Weston plastic toy soldiers of UK carry EB brands and sale some of their sets.chek w himThere is no commercial outlet for these figures here in the UK and can only be obtained thru e-bay, even then only payment in US dollars working out at almost
£6.00 GBP per figure with postage and that excludes potential import tax as they are coming from a non EU country. Great shame as they do look like great figures.

SOME????
"Sorry .I disagree in the sets with bad plastic. Almost all are in bad quality plastic done.
,the last polish and Teutonic sets,the crusades/Saracen , Normand, two different Viking sets,ww2 Russian two sets, two 100 years war knights sets and samurai are all fragile plastic, specially the swords ,tip of rifle ,they had easily brake in many sets wile receiving by me and others buyers."
This is very strange. I reiterate what I said before--I have all the of the Publius sets--and only the vikings and WW2 Russians (OK, maybe another set that has escaped my memory) have been in a hard, breakable material. The Vikings and Russians are made of different material from each other. All the other sets are a nice unbreakable plastic. I could even step on some of these figures and they wouldn't break. I always wondered why the Vikings are made of such a different material. But this raises a totally new question. It seems that many other collectors, based on Fritz' comment, are getting highly breakable figures, some of which are probably the same figures that I have received in unbreakable plastic. If so, why is the producer running the same sets in two different types of material? That seems almost unbelievable, but might be the case. Any ideas?
BTW, none of the highly fragile figures I have received have ever some broken and I have ordered them all from Russia.

About stepping on it and not brake it; that was so funny!!. Please don't do it or you know you need to glue it back.{sm4}^&grin.It will happen the same as if you step on STARLUX figure!!
Most plastic figures if step over will be crushed unless pure rubber or you weight less than 10 pounds.
But the joke was relaxing!!!{sm4}
Best regards...:salute::
I am not here to argue with you nor even disagree with what you say. I have simply tried to add to the discussion by relating MY experience.
Your rudeness regarding my comments is uncalled for.
