Hi all,

Glad to be part of the forum :)
And a big hello from Singapore.

Would like to contribute some of the K&C dioramas that myself and friends have prepared.
These dioramas we showcased for a short 4 days museum event in Singapore.

First up is the RAF Battle of Britian Dio.

Thank you
Michael

Hi Mike,

Very nice pictures of your excellent Battle of Britain dio.

Thanks for sharing,

Raymond.:)

Hi Raymond,
How you doing? Thank you for your comments :)
Cheers
Michael

Mike,

I am good, but very busy.

Your photographs look excellent. What did you use for background ?

It looks like a bitterly cold day at Biggin Hill with light fog.

Hope you are keeping well too.

Raymond:)

I am good Raymond.
Quite busy too, am managing a new company.
Which is why The Soldier Story is slow to launch, but getting there :)

The effect must be due to the acrylic box which diorama was placed in.
The pictures were taken at the museum exhibition.
Camera was set on low light with no tripod mode (hope this makes sense, thats what the option says on my digital cam).

Mike,

Thanks very much for the info. Hope you will be posting the Imperial China and Age of Napoleon displays, as both Victor (Blaster) and myself missed the first week at the ACM.

Raymond.:)

Michael,

Excellent setup and photos, thanks for posting. Cheers, Alby

I think that the one with the pilot sitting on the table is the best, looks excellent. Hope there is going to be a lot more of this stuff in the near future. Thanks for posting

Looking forward to the Napoleonic Display photos too :)

How many of you guys are there in S'pore who collect K&C?
You as just as close to me as Sydney :) :) and maybe a cheaper flight :)

John

Thank you all for the very warm welcome and comments :)
Unfortunately there isn't many KC/Toy Soldier Collectors in Singapore that I know of.

But I am trying to change that.
Thus I am bringing Toy Soldiers into the retail scene in Singapore.
Starting with what I know best and collect, King and Country.

Thats why I jumped on the chance to showcase as a guest exhibitor at the musuem a month back.
The following dioramas were created for the event.

Napoleon & His Generals
Age of Napoleon CG vs Cuirassier
Eighth Army (visit by Churchill)
Battle of Britian
LAH Berlin Parade
Imperial Chinese Army

And met up 2 Treefroggers (glassman & blaster) at the event. Its tough work but well worth the effort.

And yes, I will be putting up the Napoleon/Imperial Chinese Army pics soon.

Cheers
