A mosquito would be a nice addition, but you may relook my post. I was describing single engine A/C. Multi engine sizing may get too large for safe shipment. If 2 engines then add the mosquito, and a B-25!

Yes, so far we've had single seater fighters, but I guess as soon as you start making Mosquito and other twin engine aircraft the cost goes up and it may become unrealistic.

When I first started collecting I never thought I'd ever even consider "big ticket" items produced like K&C's wooden warbirds, Aeroart, FL, Figarti's "shock n awe" etc etc. {sm2} But mentioning multi engined aircraft makes me think that if the right B-17 came along I would be sorely tempted despite the enormous space and cost. It would be a great centrepiece to my collection and I guess I could afford one if I didn't make any other purchase for an entire year....... {eek3} :( :( I almost bought the British landing craft that Figarti made a few years back but sanity prevailed. {sm4}

Me too, thought I was not going to get into the aircraft but they are hard to resist as it is, but then when you see such good support figures and vehicles it's hard to say no isn't it!. So far I've resisted the P40 and North Africa RAF but if a Hurricane MKII ' Tin opener' comes along that policy like so many others will go straight out the window!

Rob...

I think that the RAF aircraft especially the last two have moved the warbirds to a new level. The tomahawk which, I have is by far the best poly warbird I have seen and, the pics of the new spit look really good also.

The spitfire is the iconic fighter of the war and, as the RAF range becomes more and more popular and prominant in the K&C inventory its only a matter of time before we see these great aircraft the spit and Hurrican in desert colours and, in poly

I agree. I very much hope you are correct here Mitch, the Hurricane MkII was the most effective and feared ground attack aircraft in North Africa, I would love to see this aircraft represented by the foremost toy soldier company out there{bravo}}

We'd need a P-51B/C with the Malcom hood in RAF colors as well. What about an F4U In naval? Its a start and meshes with the USAAF.

For future RAF aircraft, how about a Gladiator? Also don't forget the Fleet Air Arm - Skua, Martlet even a Swordfish.

Good ideas!

Ok, as we are playing what would we like, my top three;

Boulton Paul Defiant
Hurricane MkII (North Africa)
Mosquito (any version)

Rob

My top three is Gloster Meteor Mk 3 , Hawker Tempest and Spitfire Mk 14

Spitfire Mk I, a classic!!! Typhoon and, Mossie. Probably, the mossie would come second

Neil, I'm guessing Mitch thought the list was faves so far and not wish list.

Rob, I was doing some research and I came across this interesting plane. What think you?

Looks good Ludwig, and as you say an interesting aircraft. If I remember rightly it didn't quite live up to expectations and was used for low level attacks and also some Bomber escort duties, nice looking aircraft.

Rob

I did indeed had only saw Neils top three but, a mossie would be the pick but, from threads back a while ago I think they were kind of shelved because of size with polystone.
