Hi Guys,

Here’s the last of the Royal Air Force’s four-engined “Heavies” that helped win the war...The Short “Stirling”.

As many of you know already we have produced several squadrons worth of “ Lancasters” (in many variations) and “ Halifaxes”.

Up until now the “ Stirling” has been conspicuous by its absence...Well no longer!

This big ‘un arrived just a couple of days back and already a bunch of them are flying out to collections around the globe so some guys are going to have a very big Christmas present under their trees this year!

At the same time we got a little batch of additional “ Mosquitoes” and, another first, “ Avro Ansons” ...I’ve bagged one of the “Ansons” for my personal Christmas pressie from “me” to “me”.

Hope you like them and...Happy Flying!

Andy C.

Any photos of the mosquito Andy? Thank in advance

Andy, what a big, beautiful bird!!

All the best, Happy Holidays,
Tom

My uncle Paul was a tail gunner in a Lancaster during WW2
with the Canadian RAF Squadron 163
He came back
His mother used to go to church everyday
She used to say everyday i go to church
he will be safe that day
She never missed church and he came back
I was young when i was told but i never forgot

Awesome piece. I'd really like to have a bomber in my collection. I've never seen one in person or know anyone who has one but if you check out how small the figures are alongside the bomber it gives one some perspective on just how enormous these pieces would be. I know I don't have any shelf space for that! {eek3} I have enough trouble making my fighter plane warbirds fit. :redface2:

This maybe a way round the shelf issue.^&grin, Robin.

Another spectacular K&C aircraft. It's size comes into perspective when compared next to the figures beside it. Awesome ! :salute::

awesome plane, how is it shipped? does it have to be assembled? the scale looks great

I think it does come in a couple of pieces from what I was told.

I have a B-17. Other than the props, it was fully assembled. I don't know about this one though
