Guys this is one of the Halifax bombers that finally sank the Tirpitz. It was rescued from a Norwegian Fjord and given to the Museum. You will also see a bulkhead from the Tirpitz, two sqdns who were involved in bombing the German ship argued over who should have this bulkhead ( legend has it one squadron even stole it from another!) the debate was finally ended with the decision to give it to the museum;

My pleasure mate, glad you like them. Wayne if you ever get chance to come to Europe you should definitely visit the Tank Museum and Hendon, but I know you would just LOVE Normandy mate. So much to see there and packed with museums and bunkers.


Yeah mate John and i shared a coldie on Wednesday and he was telling me all about it,i have to get there one day around showtime i reckon.
