Just got in the RAF Tilly. Here she is displayed with a Revell 1/32 Spitfire I just finished. I had Aero Master decals for a Mk Vb Spit of pilot Alan Wright "QJS" from No. 92 Squadron Biggin Hill, May 1941 so I used parts of those markings leaving off some so as to depict a BoB Mk I Spit instead. The Tilly is a nice little truck and am glad to add it to my collection. I added some BAR fuel drums into the back for this scene.

Thanks Guy, Craig and DM101. Seems the 1st photo and the B&W get the nod as the best of the lot.:smile2: Thanks for the comments.

Thank you kindly Rob, Mitch and Wayne, and Wayne you might as well go ahead and purchase a Tilly, but no need to convert to AK as Rob has suggested{eek3}, it's ok if you just leave it as 8th Army:tongue: You could start a new collection of 8th Army to go along with your extensive AK collection. Your AK guys do need some opposition do they not?{sm3}

Very nice work, both on the Spit and the pictures. The final result is great! {bravo}}

Thanks for the encouraging words. I've really just in the last year or so gotten somewhat back into building models myself. I'm currently trying to finish up a Hawker Typhoon, staying with the RAF theme.

That Tilley looks right at home on that RAF airfield, nice work with the backdrop as well. I'd like to see some more RAF releases that focus on the stuff you'd commonly see around an airfield to service the airplanes. ^&cool

Thanks CFM. I agree that more airfield accessories would be welcome to help in constructing a realistic scene.

Now that would be quite awesome in 1/30 Rob.
