After killing myself yesterday doing the garden, I thought I might as well use it to my advantage...

I wish it was that sunny and warm enough to work in the garden here in Wisconsin. Snowing heavily here today - forecast is for up to 7 inches of the white stuff before morning. By the way, SNOW is a four letter word in more than one respect. I digress - Great looking pictures. Nothing like good old Mother Nature's original stuff to make a great looking dio. Very nice, very nice indeed. Your pics have added some warmth to my morning here in snow country.

Thanks Mike. Get yourself some Bulge sets in recreate the Ardennes!

Very cool! Its clear that Kevin's natural light photography is having a fun effect on us all!:cool:

Simon,
Very impressive shots. Just more confirmation of my belief that Figarti makes truely wonderful AFVs. By-the-by, my garden is still under about 8 inches of SNOW :(

Thanks guys. I always seem to mess up lighting when I take photos indoors, so taking a leaf out of Kevin's book....

Brad, the SF figures are m favorite sets. Just wish K&C would do some more (which I'm thinking is pretty unlikely :()

Michael, totally agree. The Grant is mindblowing in detail.

If the sun is still shining tomorrow, I might get back out there and do a few more. Spent the last hour painting up a runway in preperation :).

Simon,
Nice figures, Nice landscape, Great shots! They're keepers! The SF guys look real going up against the mujahadeen!
Can't wait 'till the morrow!
Mike

Looks like you had a lot of fun out there along with yard work. Alex

You little copycat poser :D:D:D see- everyone on the forum thought I was crazy when I first started doing these outside shots- it's a lot of fun- just wait, before you know it, you are going to be looking around at your yard, your neighbors yard and who knows where else trying to find spots for the next great "Shot". My neighbor gives me grief now- "Hey, you gonna clean up that "Soldier hole" of yours!!" LOL :D

Oh, I dunno..........remember- the new KC line is called "US Navy". "US Navy" is pretty comprehensive and the SEALs have been pretty active in OEF and the OIF so perhaps we will see a subset in later years with some Seal Team Six figures or so.........Here's to hoping bro.......

Excellent pics Simon and great use of Terrain, you see thats why we have gardens!;)

Thanks for your kind comments guys, much appreciated, especially for what is minimal effort in setting up (if you forget about the 11 hours hard labour the day before, cleaning the garden up ).

Mike, just finished another 'shoot', will post pics later.
Scott, Alex, Vick, Clinton, cheers, a lot of fun, so much so that I've done it again! :)
Jeff, the Figarti Grant is a December Show purchase from Clive, and a fantastic one at that. Very pleased with it.

Chris, What can I say mate. You led and others follow. Now remeber, that next to worthless SF03 Humvee that you've got propping open the kitchen door, the one that's got half of your garden dirt engrained in the tyre tracks, the one that got dropped, broken and repaired......you know that I'll take it off your hands, as a favour to you, any time you want to ship it over here. :D;)

I somehow think the US Navy series in to Seal Team Six, might be wishful thinking, but I'm thinking positive thoughts man!

Cheers
Simon
