John,

Nice scene and photos.

I chose the Ranger figure as well - I didn't know that JJ had so many relatives in the Army back then!:)

Jeff

Very nice John, looks like everyone has a scenic base by H&A. Guess I should get one as well. :)

Great pics, ive only just started collecting JJD and your post makes we want more. Who is the officer holding the pistol? i have not seen him before.

Very nice scene John. Good to see your collection on display like that.

Thanks for the comments guys. Yes, I have one H&A piece that I over use.
The officer with the pistol is CC#3 Lt. Dunbar and the Chief is Chief Scarouyady #2. The other figure besides Lt. Jenkins is a ranger at rest figure. The trees are flats or semi-round made by Bob Hornung from Ohio. John

Very Nice Diorama.
You Tell the Story with only Four Figures
and a Few Accessories.

John...I don't think you can overuse Ken's diorama board...in my opinion...it's the most realistic product on the market...a must have...

Just caught sight of your thread John. Very nice to see you posting these very nice FIW photos. Thanks for sharing with us.

Thanks Mark: I got them mixed up. No pic of the CC guys in my reference book that came with calendar :confused:r. J

That's alright John we all make mistakes like I have to learn to spell pistol.:):D:eek:

Hey John,

That's a great dio. I especially like the pic color saturation. Now, I'm just wondering what the 3 are looking at off to their side with "Oh my God" expressions on their faces? Is that the look toy soldiers get when they realize the mfg. is retiring them?

By the way John, after 2 years I finally get to thank you for your forum welcome in March 09. Thank you.

Nice work!

Joe Roy

Thanks Joe. Nice to see you posting. I did some research about the patrol and what they are looking at. According to legend they came across the "Kardashian Tribe" having a party by the Jersey Shore.:D:eek: John

My pleasure John, and now I know why they have such shocked expressions. I'd be running hard if I were them.

Cheers Sir

Joe
