I do hope he stays with a small number no more than 300 its fun to have something no one else has. Also clears the shelves for more newer items. Is newer a word?

My guess is that the higher price for this will result in a very limited release. Probably in the 250-350 range. Certainly not more than 500. Hopefully, we find out soon.

I would like to see the whaleboat released at a future date as a stand alone item without the crew. That way it could be used tied up empty to the dock or shoreline.

I wonder if the crew members will be removable?

When I was a kid I had a set that I loved of Atlantic plastic figures of either Davy Crocket or other frontiersmen with a big log raft, canoes etc. It had great play value.

Hobby Lobby, at $1.49 each, I couldn't resist them.

They are 7 1/2"s long and will make great canoes with a little work.

Somebody on Ebay is selling them for $17 with a stain job on them., well it looks pretty similar to me anyway.
