It would be wonderful if Andy could see his way to doing some more re-issues - the Opel Blitz truck in a previous email would be a great suggestion.

Personally I would like to see the M3 WW2 half track, the battle of Balaclava and the Scots Greys at Waterloo being redone.

This ought to be pretty cost effective for K&C so one can only hope!

I am sure others have some great suggestions too.

how about an opel maultier in different theaters

KM017 - Sd. Kfz. 9 Famo Recovery Vehicle was suppose to be released in cam.

This list could be endless. How about just appreciating new and exciting pieces by K&C.

I doubt the list is endless!

...and I really do think we appreciate everything that’s currently done - it’s just that over the years collectors may have missed out on key pieces or it may be that some items could just use a bit of sprucing up - look how well the rebooted Vietnam series has been received.

Additionally, how great does the squadron of Spitfires look (planes which have been reissued over a number of years)? The same items, only slightly altered, can create a great impact when massed together - a lot of us don’t have the skills, or access to the skills, to do this ourselves.

Finally, my last thought for these troubled times, is that reissues could be a cost effective approach for K&C, at least where there is demand.

Swings and Roundabouts isn't it !

We all clamour for new releases is whatever ranges we might collect, but there's also earlier releases that we've missed for one reason or another that we'd like to add to our collections.
Sometimes you can pick up older pieces on the second hand market quite reasonably, other times vendors are asking an arm and a leg for some damaged piece.
I'm split between both camps, I love seeing new releases but also there's some pieces I'd like to see reissues of again, though maybe not the same as others would like to see and as already mentioned perhaps in a piece in a different guise !

I guess in the end if Andy thinks there is enough demand or his interests swing the way that we desire again we might get lucky !

I understand what you are saying and I missed out on numerous pieces that I would love to see re-released.
What I'm getting at is that K&C has such a diverse collection already in the market and while I wouldn't mind seeing pieces from the past, I'd rather see focus on new pieces/designs. How many available products would you want to see K&C maintain?

Imagine if we just see recolored, repainted, re-releases from the past. I really treasure a number of particular items that I spent much time and/or money to acquire. Although I do not purchase with the intent to resell, there goes the value.

I suppose there should be a balance but as an active and long-time collector, instead of just recommending old items as well as new ones, I think it is important for us to appreciate items that are available. There's a suggestion board for thoughts and I think Andy/K&C continues to do an amazing job in listening to collectors. I suppose as I get older and crankier, I just see these "wish lists" as endless among an already amazing offering with new dispatches every month.

Well said, Steve; and I think Andy does an amazing job in trying to make all of us happy.

There should never be a reissue from any maker, once that happens nothing exclusive about them any more, even when I missed out on figures wait a a new style or pose, no reissues, what is the point on putting limitation when first released

Release in an alternate paint scheme; ie 10th Regiment of Foot vs 33rd etc

Oh yes. There are several armour wanted wishes.

A Jagpanzer IV L/70

A Jagdpanther.

What about the newer collectors or future collectors? They should have an opportunity to collect a past release. What's great about WW2 on the European front is there were two different fronts. Multiple camo schemes. Example, the above listed German Armour served both on the Eastern and Western front. I got someone started to collect WW 2 K&C figures and armour about a year ago. Never new K&C was out there. He'd love to see Jagdpanther released. I'm sure there are more out there.

Always new people coming to the hobby that may have missed out or maybe people that bought one but would like another. Why should they be exclusive? It actually irks me on exclusive figures, sometimes they are hard to get a hold of (eg if released in another country usually creating high shipping costs) Anyone buying TS and relying on them for future profit may be in the wrong hobby IMO. Granted there are a few items which command big bucks but most of the newer stuff I would say still sells at retail or less.

I would love the archers from last version of the Romans, they were fantastic.
I would also love the dismounted ACW Union Cavalry. They were not available for very long.

I think it depends on the reissue, i can understand where you are coming from if it is/was a straight release, but using the same casting of a figure or vehicle to create another variant, theatre, camo i think is good for the collector and the manufacturer. For the manufacturer being able to get more out of a casting is beneficial and essential if they are to make a profit. Castings and figure/vehicle development is expensive and the manufacturers need to exploit the casting as much as possible. There are manufacturers that already do multiple variants using the same castings but release them at the same time. whereas others such as K & C just do the same but in a different timeframe.

For collectors like me i like multiple, for example the K & C 3 Grey Panzer 38T tanks are great, they are essentially the same tank with different turret numbers and make a great diorama of a tank unit. I want to see more multiples of the same tank so we can create unit dioramas. I really would like to see a British armoured Troop of tanks, 3 Sherman or Cromwell tanks with a Sherman Firefly.

While there are other already released sets i would like to see reissued for another theatre, such as the British 2llb AT Gun for the Field of Battle series. Reissue the US armoured jeep [DD and BBA] with the bazookas on a plinth. Plus a few German vehicles/tanks reissued in different colour schemes.

How about taking the opel maultier aa he did and just remaking that without the aa gun. You could do it for all fronts. Although
although a winter version with the aa gun would be nice
