Re: Three Suggestions for new RAF series

Brad,

Is that a new Spitfire version from K&C ?

I love the Spitfire beauty pictured on your coffee table.

The markings are different ?customized.

(hope you don't mind the copy and paste job).

Raymond.:)

Brad,

Apologies for my error in warbird ID.

It is a P51 Mustang, not a Spitfire.

Lucky I did not join the air force.

Thanks, Raymond.

Re: Three Suggestions for new RAF series

Hi Guys,

Re the two RAF aircraft in our P.R. shots of the RAF Ambulance… The Hurricane is, of course, our upcoming Polystone model… The P51 Mustang in Polish Air Force D. Day markings is one of our very limited all-wood, hand-carved models. Hope this clarifies the situation.

Best wishes and… chocks away!
Andy C.

Andy

Thank you for clearing that up, you'd never believe it but I was in the Cadet aircraft recognition team, we were so bad that our C.O. said if we had been in the Observer Corps we would now be in the Luftwaffe Air Training Corps!!

Cracking releases and spot on for BoB week. Thank you.

Re: Three Suggestions for new RAF series

Wayne,
Actually I am pretty sure Andy is working on Squadron's of Aussie Boomerang's and Wirraways ! He has probably forgotten but as you know they would outsell Spitfires and ME109's !!!!! To fill a massive void in the market they will be in Russian Front markings and don't tell me you did not lkmow the Aussies provided air cover at Kursk. Peter Jackson has bought the movie rights already. He was particularly impressed with the scene where the Light Horse charged the Tigers.
I am sure Simmo will back me up on this as he is one of Andy's most valued technical advisers and will be flying to New Zealand to consult with Jackson.
Regards
Brett
PS Not written whilst under the influence of Bundy Rum !!!

What are you drinking and can we get it in the UK?

Re: Three Suggestions for new RAF series

Great ambulance, you could even use it for fob. I could see it in a long line of vehicles retreating to the coast.

Re: Three Suggestions for new RAF series

Thanks for that matey now lets get serious, lets talk ME109,s.......

ME109'S are for losers mate, the Luftwaffe that is!:D.This is the RAF series.Bring on THE most iconic fighter ever, the one the only, the Goering's arse kicking Spitfire!:):);)

Iconic - definately. A great plane - saw them recently at Duxford.:D

But for me I have always had a fondness for the hurricane; it shot down more planes in the Battle of Britain then all the other planes and land defences combined. And it was largely made of wood...;)

Can't wait to get my KC one...

Hurricane is indeed a great plane, the true backbone of the RAF during the Battle of Britain,i love both planes:).

Not to put too fine a point on it but that "P51" is better known as a Mustang III with Malcolm hood, and a right beauty it is. To me, it was the best of the Mustang variants and looks so much better in RAF camo.;):D

Re: Three Suggestions for new RAF series

I'm looking forward to the growth of this RAF series in terms of planes, ground support vehicles and figures. Very impressive start. Yet another line I now must collect. As an aside I'm also now really excited about the prospects for American and German air force pieces ( planes, ground support vehicles and figures ). The various air force series are a great road K&C are venturing down and I hope collectors keep these lines viable so K&C can keep putting wonderful pieces out.

Re: Three Suggestions for new RAF series

Evzone,
Bundaberg Rum : can get as straight rum or cans of Bundy and coke. They also do a nice Ginger Beer. I googled it and looks like plenty to be found in the UK.
See
www.angloaustraliantrading.com/Australiashop and the same site also has a NZ shop, Canadian shop and South African shop.
Something to drink whilst watching the cricket !!!

Re: Three Suggestions for new RAF series

Brett I think Bundy is a bit to strong for you.Have a good lay down and rest and hope the head is not to fuzzy tomorrow. But Andy told you to be quiet about the emails we share and the ideas I have given him. You no about The Two new Tigers he is bring out and the boats for the jetty he has made but that is our little secret. Simmo.
