Can I know where to get this backdrop ?

The backdrop was downloaded from the internet, I don't remember where I found it. I photo layer my backdrops, which is done with the computer layering one photo over another.

The building is a modified birdhouse

The Figarti T34 is excellent as are the figures, but they are too big of course, but I had to make an exception to my scale rule here. That is why I set them back a bit.

Another beaut Alex...................:salute::

Thanks Wayne

Now we know where those massive explosions were coming from. A typical Russian heavy bombardment to soften the Germans up.

The Crew Leader on the left is getting fire direction from a spotter, who you will see in a later pic.

Tanks are getting ready to exploit the softened position.

Figarti Russian stuff is crazy good, it enhances the look of the scene. I just wish they would conform to the 1/30th figures and get away from that 1/28th figure size nonsense.

I can make the 1/28th figures work in scenes through prospective, but on the collection shelf in person, the 1/28 figures with 1/30th AFV's are atrocious ( Who dreamed up that nightmare anyway )

With counter battery fire on the way........ it is time to button up and move out.

March 1945 ......... The end of the road for Germany in the East is getting near.....

Advanced units have already put pressure on the German positions easing the incoming artillery fire.

Beautiful photos Alex, and the backdrop works to perfection.

Fantastic battle scenes. They look very very real. Figarti do makes excellent Russian armors. Agree with you about their figure size which is on a larger scale and that's the only thing stopping me from buying their figures.

WoW, Your work is Fantastic ! It really inspires the rest of us to do better, more creative and realistic scenes !

Thank you gentlemen.......If you have any questions about creating scenes let me know or visit my website.

If you note I commented on Figarti's figure Size ( Personal Taste ) I hope you understand I am not picking on any manufacturers or trying to put them down. But for the life of me I can't understand the concept of 1/28th figures with 1/30th vehicles, which is practiced by Figarti, K&C, TGM and TCS.

If anyone can enlighten be as to the benefit of this practice, I would greatly appreciate it. I think more and more collectors are taking notice of this practice and wondering why also.

Best
Alex

Thank you sir.

Today is one of those tough forum days where unpleasant issues regarding scale, proportion and detail etc. are being passionately discussed elsewhere .

If, as you say my work is getting better and better, it is because I work hard on these areas, and I don't let things get by me....I dont have a good enough attitude and I never will, maybe it is my Fire Department background in a city that had exceptional action............................... if we goofed people died.

The manufacturers have their part in this also, this happens to be a well done tank with good proportion and detail, which makes my work look better, as hopefully my attention to detail makes the tank look better, then it becomes a total package

Thanks again for your kind words.

I don't like that guy's chances on the lower right of surviving the day.......With this operation winding down........on to Berlin
