I wonder if Brian has any plans of releasing more as they know now its a certain seller?

I would like to see a Brandenburg Gate. Maybe 1 side a 1938 version and the other side a bullet damaged 1945 side

Put me down for one, that's a great idea, Brian loves to do items that can be displayed in a damaged condition and also new format. It may have to be released in 2 halves due to the size of the gate, collectors than having the choice of a smaller gate length wise to keep costs down. This all possible and Brian is just the man to follow thru on this. Cheers, Robin.

I would think Brian will stick with past decisions and not make any more side sections sticking to the 300 limit of the lichterfeld barracks.

I would like to see CS, especially, with the berlin range move away from this very limited run of figures and buildings as collectors want to buy more than what is available. 300 may seem a large number but, its not and restricts the parade collector hugely. I have a set figure (of the lowest number I want) in mind when buying LAH troops in parade poses and, sadly have come nowhere near that number with the CS figures

Perhaps an open ended release on the marching/parade figures and stick with it on other ranges. Its got to make sense and be a way of making more profits to strengthen and enlarge the company?? The figures are very nice but, it is off putting when you can only get small numbers. I find that I try not to rush to buy them as much now and stick with K&C as you know they are around a lot longer and allow you to build a decent size parade display without having to contact multiple dealers grabbing their last stock. Thats not fun to me!!!!

Now that is a Great idea!!!**!..I can just see it now. a couple of T34 tanks maybe an SU152, Russian infantry at rest...Drinking/Dancing!!.
As i said great idea, but it will never happen...To Big, to Costly, But come on Andy..Make me eat my words!!!!!!...PLEEEESE!!!!.

I recently acquired the center piece of the Lichterfeld barracks set but I am lacking the two end pieces which seem to have dried up here in the states. I have a friend locally in the same dilema. In the event a small run of these were redone it would seem they would sell through also. Maybe 100..... ^&confuse. If CS drew a firm line of 300 ....no more...no less...then its a done deal. Alas...the secondary market.

I was told by a US based dealer that more were on the way in February..... How true that is we will soon find out. If that is the case I know of 4 of the Lichterfeld side buildings already sold. {sm3}

If thats so, this is the perfect arena for Brian to comment on this rather than comments from dealers as I spoke only yesterday with a CS dealer and he said it was unlikely to happen.

I wonder though, if this may be a realisation from CS, if its true, that the berlin range should be open ended as I mentioned yesterday

I am looking at joining all the five sides together as some don't fit well placed against each other but, I am not a fan of the limits especially for the Berlin ranges

I really wonder what or how the Lichtenfelde Barracks can be extended. Only by the Gate/Guard house, but this would limit the view of the main building IMO.

But there're other buildings which I'ld love to see for the LAH/Berin'38 range: The Luitpold Hall for example {sm3}

@Mitch, once you've put all five parts together you'll never want to seperate them again. Mine Lichtenfelde Dispaly is almost empty (because most of the troops are on the Gröfaz Birthday Parade in Nürnberg !) but even so it looks brilliant.
Also it took me some time to get the right glas cabinet for it because of its size and overall weight.

Brian has the forum to allow collectors to know if he decides to change his from day one policy of limited runs and, has been asked many times on other items to extend the release size and, has not. I am just saying that the dealer you spoke with and the one I have have heard two different things (and, its always from the alleged horses mouth) and it would, be better for Brian to tell us if this is so than rumour and gossip swaying to and fro.

I am looking for a decent base board to adhere the pieces too and, will then set it up permanantly in the loft with CS troops on. I like the idea of adding the guard house to the front entrance but, think your right about it blocking the view of the main buildings a bit

If only 300 units of the middle section and 2x300 units of the side parts got produced, no wonder why many dealers still have the center unit in stock but now side units.
