If you hooked all these up what would be the length of it and the width ?
If anyone could help it would be appreciated thanks alot.

My engine and box car together are 45 inches long. The track is 7.25 inches wide. I don't have the other piece.
 
The loco is 31". Each rail car is 14" - 15" and you listed 6 cars so about 90". In total about 120" or 10 ft. and that is before including the Karl Morser railway carrier. I don't know how long the Karl Morser carrier is.

Cool. I had the gun and carrier and it was great but it took up too much room so I had to sell it. Hope you make out better.

That is loco and tender...31 ".....how high is the Engine from track to roof....how wide is the track ?...are they rail cars or flat tops....sorry about the questions but I need the measurement as I am thinking of making an engine along the line of that one and need to get an idea of scale... is it 1/35 ?....I have made a quick 1/32 loco and that is large....I am curious to see how much smaller in size the 1/32 would be to the 1/35....would appreciate any info on engine...tender etc......have seen somewhere track width as 7 1/2 inches......that dont seem right.......thank you...TomB

The only consideration was the length of the cars and the width, especially the length of the locomotive and tender. The height was never a consideration. The locomotive and tender is 78' 5" or 941"". The model is 31". So 941"/31" = scale of 30.35. At that scale, an engine at 1:32 scale will be smaller at 29.4" and even smaller at 1:35 scale = 26.9"

The track width is 4" 8-1/2" gauge or 56.5". At 1:30 the track width should be 1.88" and at 1:35 scale the track width should be 1.61". The 7-1/2" track width referred to must be the width of the track plus the wide base it is on and not the track itself.

Thanks for that...seems I will have to go back to the drawing board on scales....the attch pic is the loco I made...airfix 54mm figs....approx 38 cm long.....the length was reduced due to the fact sculprey has to be baked to cure and oven length has to be an consideration.....I have not done a tender or carriage yet....I have stuffed the scale up but at least it will take up less space...thanks for the reply...TomB

That doesn't look like the locomotive that Figarti modeled. There were many Reichsbahn engines of different lengths. The dimensions I am using are only for the loco the Figarti model is based on. So who can say if your scale is out? Is your model of a BR 52.

Is based slightly on a BR 52..have since found much more detail on model....so could do a better job if I try another one..not sure how you go on copywrite ....I have my own small ( Now) collection of elect trains...mainly Brit....but the German freight loco's are much more interesting than the Brits.....Utube has some great vid on the BR series...steam Loco's are my era... one of .my uncle was a boiler maker so I got to see real loco's close up in the Rlw work shops..I have travelled a lot on the old Steam Trains and used to poke around them at the railway stations... cheers TomB.
