First decent snow fell in the Ardennes . More snow expected in the comming days . Reminds me of dec 1944. All ski facilities open as from next weekend onwards. Lovely region of my country. A few picture to show what I mean.

Guy, excellent pics my friend and very evocative of that period. I can just imagine a Sherman carefully making its way down one of these roads! You should consider turning one of these into a backdrop photo for one of your superb dio's mate^&cool

Rob, my friend, I had the same thought and turned picture n°1( the snow covered country road) into a backdrop.
Will use it one day. My next dio about the BoB however is set in the Ardennes forest, but I am planning to purchase the easy eight and put it on a country road dio , this picture could be an ideal backdrop.

Nice one mate, I look forward to seeing these dio's when completed. That pic will make a stunning backdrop to one of your wonderful scenes. (got my first look at the Easy 8 on Saturday and it is very nice indeed^&cool)

Absolutely beautiful. I really wish I was there to explore and visit. Time to start working on my Ardennes-Battle of the Bulge dioramas again.
