Victor,
I've still got another 10 - 20 figures still to go, so its a great feeling to bringing them back to their former glory.

These are the next 3 restored Stadden figures.
This is what they came to me looking like:

Drum Major was only undercoated, so not in this image.
Now they look like this:

They are (L to R) Drum Major 7th Regt Foot, Major General of Light Dragoons and Life Guard officer.
I still have another 10 figures to go, mainly Napoleonic, and will keep posting them here, so keep a lookout

As you can see the Stadden figures came as a 2 figure fighting vignette, but Luiz only wanted me to restore the British soldiers, so I melted the solder on the bases to remove the figures, bent the arms and legs to different positions, cut down the tinplate bases for a single figure, reassembled them, and repainted.
That was last year, but a month ago, Luiz asked me if I still has the Sudanese warriors, and I did, so I again remade the bases, and repainted these 5.
I am very pleased with final result, as is Luiz, so yet another project completed

This is the latest Stadden ??? figure that I have just finished restoring.
He is a French Hussar painted as an officer of the 7th Regiment.
This was how he came to me, well after I bent the horse back into shape because the front right leg was resting on the base and the sword blade broken off !!!!

After stripping, undercoating and repainting this is the result.

Again, excellent work.Could you please tell me what paint and what colour you used on the horse? That is the closest I have seen to a light bay on a painted toy horse(a colour I would like to use myself).Well done that man. This is the latest Stadden ??? figure that I have just finished restoring.
