That would be great matt, I am sure that new collectors will buy them (yours truly included) plus any others that have been looking for them for a long time.
Dare I say the same applies to the piper and the drummer boy...

If we go ahead and do this, then sure we can look at doing the bagpiper and drummer boy as well. After all, no harm to us if none of them meet the minimums for production.

Zach, NAP0012 is a classic figure worth a small fortune on the secondary market. I think there is demand from a collectability perspective of the very limited run of these, I'm not sure there is demand for a re-run of that figure.

I can already see now that "Mattstarter" will evolve into 200 different collectors wanting 200 different figures. :)

Perhaps you could start a poll on the 10 most requested figures to be remade and then use the top five to do your "Mattstarter."

Just so you guys know, I have been listening to the comments being made and the desire to have the Standard Bearers remade for the Gordon Highlanders. I completely understand that some folks want them. On the flip side, they were available for quite some time. Of course that doesn't help the new collector/new customer who perhaps wasn't around when we created them and really wants them so that they can complete their collection. I had mentioned previously that we wanted to produce some more of them and really that hasn't changed, but we have to weigh the opportunity cost of doing so being a business after all. What are we going to sell more of, a brand new never before produced figure or Gordon Standard Bearers? Also, are those asking for it willing to pay the price for it? In 2010/2011 it was a $75 figure, pricey for it's time. Are you now willing to pay $99-$109 for them, because with the Tartan detail and at our current quality level and cost, that's roughly what the price will be for each.

I guess one way to find out is that perhaps I'll put them up on our website for sale and if we get enough firm orders for them, we'll produce them to order with a small amount of overrun. If we don't reach target production numbers, we'll just cancel the orders. If we do reach it, we'll make them and fill the orders. So the market can solely determine if wgoes. Butn

ke more of them...or not. Something of a "Mattstarter" project. :smile2:[/QUOTE

I am in even in that price point, and excellent idea about just in the web site, and see how it goes...
But please do let us know if its a go!!, so we can start collecting some if the other Gordon pieces.

I agree, just let us know Matt so we can add to our orders etc. Thank you!

I just put the order in. I guess in 5-6 weeks I might be buying some of the Highlander figures. And it will be a past must have being fulfilled.

The dealers might be happy too, if they do the re-do, pieces in their inventory that were not selling at all will have interests again.... So a win for the collector, a win for the dealer, and a win for the manufacturer.

Any interest for a flick-starter for the following figures:

NAP0278 British 95th Rifles Lieutenant

NAP0237 Field Marshal Arthur Wellesley - Duke of Wellington

AWI007 Continental Militia Standing Cocking Musket

I would certainly by them
