Is there a place where the K&C retire list is posted by each month ?

If not - can we start one ?

It is helpful to see what has been retired a few months ago and keep track of it - as you make buying decisions.

I think that people will orbbably want to know what Napoleonic sets were out when they are available, I think since Andy is retiring them at the end of this year this may be a good idea!:)

Tom how could you?

He maybe itty bitty, or teeny weenie, or even teeny tiny.........but calling

him a little man......well isn't that a bit harsh?:p

How about a little fellow?:D

My little K&C series tracking site has information on released and retired dates if it is of any help. With a quick page to query the data by month I could generate a monthly released/retired list, as the data is all there (well, going back to 2002/2003 for the series I input).

Can be accessed here.

Had a look at your data and am really impressed. You've done an excellent job with the photos cropping them and making them a consistent size. Many of them look better than the originals.

I noticed that there are some gaps in the photo and prices database. I have been collecting photos and info on the K&C WW2 ranges and I think I have some photos you have not posted and some of the info on some of the sets. Have you just not got around to filling them in or are there photos and data you just don't have yet? I could send you the photos and info that I have that you are missing if you like.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the comments. Please feel free to add this to your favorites and access it as needed. I developed it to give me quick access to the data (works great from a phone even I've found) without a lot of formatting/fuss. Also allowed me to keep my database and programming skills somewhat fresh. :)

Take care,

-Rich

Hi Terry,

The gaps you've found in the database are likely due to me not having a good sized image to add. If you have photos of some of the missing items I would greatly appreciate them! I've been trying to keep the photos at a consistant size across the board so as to have a standard to work from (as well as good clear examples). The information is pulled from K&C dispatches going back as far as I could find on the Treefrog site (great site, great company!). Trying to keep everything as close to official K&C information as possible so we have a good historical database for reference. Large images are good as I simply just pull them into Photoshop to resize and sharpen as needed. Smaller I can scale up and clean up, but they tend to have artifacts (DD065 is a good example, not bad, but not as clean/sharp as I like since it started as a smaller image).

I really appreciate K&C, the vendors and this forum, so if this gives back in a small way I'm glad I could contribute.

Take care,

-Rich
