Repost some pictures of a diorama the guys and myself put together some years back for a local College. A friend was enquiring about the Hougomont buildings and their fate which caused me to dig up the photos which I share once again. The buildings still reside on the cabinet top, a little dusty, weathering....:wink2:

Well you know I am hooked Wayne. What a shame this is not featuring heavily somewhere on continued display, just too good to be shelved. Saving the photos is at least something. Robin.

Was a great diorama and fantastic buildings made by Wayne.

A minor point regarding the Scots Greys pics. They were part of a large cavalry and infantry display on the next table.

I was one of those fortunate enough to view this gem in the flesh and to be fair the photos don't reflect the true size and scale of this wonderful display and it's buildings.

Hope Wayne posts more snaps and maybe a few close ups of his amazing WW1 train station dio. :wink2:^&grin

You did a fabulous job on that railway station Wayne. At one point I had it mine to see if you would part with it, but that was before I retired. All your WW1 scenes are first class, you are the master of this era. Robin.

Love the knew digs Wayne mate. Thought you'd been quiet for a wee while, must have been all that shifting and getting the dogs settled in. ^&grin

Outstanding train station! :salute::

Hope to see some ACW displays sometime in the future too. {sm4}

Yes mate moved into new digs, been a magical mystery tour the last months but settled in now.
Next adventure is to turn this lot into a 1/350 HMAS Australia sometime during the war in the pacific! Got a mega amount of after market super detailing bits and bobs from Micro Master a Kiwi mob that does 3D printing, very good stuff. It is a tangent but I do like modelling ships....

Hey Wayne, great to see those buildings again, your displays are always impressive. I've been working away from home for nearly six months, had limited internet access and I haven't had much spare time for model buying and the forum during that time. Now working working closer to home again.
