I recently received my TGM Panzer IIIM, #132 version (ACCPACK078A2) and wanted to post some pics for other collectors to reference… In any event, the tooling on the new Panzer III is excellent with very crisp details and I like the two-tone camouflage. The schurzen/spaced armor hang on the racks in similar fashion to the JJD Stug III and are a bit prone to falling off (kind of like the real ones were).
Scale-wise, the TGM Panzer III appears to be slightly larger than 1/30 scale - it is longer and wider than the JJD Stug III and only slightly smaller than the Eagle Designs Panzer IIIL. Like the ED tank, I’d be tempted to put the TGM model at 1/29 scale, meaning it could fit in with larger figures as well as smaller ones. The TGM SS Patrol figures seem to work well with the tank without seeming too out of proportion.
In short, the new TGM Panzer III is well worth adding to one’s collection!
