Long time actor Harry Carey Jr, 91, passed away on 12/30/12. He was a character actor in many memorable John Ford films such as She Wore a Yellow Ribbon (the 2nd Lt fresh out of West Point), 3 Godfathers, The Searchers, as well as Mister Roberts, Cheyenne Autumn, more than 100 movies altogether. He helped make many enjoyable hours watching great films possible for me. Chris

Big loss for we fans. Liked him in everything I ever saw him in. His scene with Wayne in The Searchers where he finds out about Lucy's fate is absolutely heartbreaking. He was also one of the last links to the Ford/Wayne film troop. RIP. -- Al

Saw Cheyenne Autumn on UK TV last week, I thought it strange that both Harry Carey Jr and Ben Johnson were uncredited in the cast list.
