In the desert at Giza, just outside Cairo, General Montgomery's "Tily" has developed problems with its left rear wheel. Pvt. Wilkins, an 8th Army "Desert Rat" and a mechanic from Liverpool in civilian life, has offered to take a look and hopefully fix it so that Monty's ATS driver can get the general to his meeting at HQ.
