Walt-Zing Matilda, Walt-Zing Matilda.....:p:):p

Harry,

Don't quite your day job :p

Maybe I can stay at the Hotel Babylon. BBC America is running some show about a hotel where all sort of racy things are going on. When I told my son I wanted to stay there, he said "you're just sad."

John,

Once again, you're not making a lot of sense. You say that "1/30th scale doesn't cut the cake." You are the one always complaining that Andy is reducing the size of his figures. Are you saying you don't care about 1/30 any more?

There is also just no way that a 1/30 figure is compatible with a 1/25 tank. It's like apples and oranges. That tank will dwarf the figures. Also Collectors Showcase is 1/28 (or whatever it is) and that's too big for 1/30. So how is 1/25 going to look next to 1/30?

Also, please get your facts right, these are 1/24 tanks, not 1/25.

I can't see 1/30 and 1/25 scale looking anything other than weird together. The average 6' figure in 1/25 scale is about 3" high against 2 1/2" in 1/30 scale, which is a 1/2" difference, making the K & C figs look like dwarfs. That would be ok in Middlearth, but a bit strange to me in the real world.

:) YES, TAMIYA Has made 1/25th Scale in the past! If you go on the Web/Site and go into Model Kits and then go to Armor Site; their you will find People who are Selling their Older Sets Tiger's, and King Tiger II and Panther's! I just Bidded on E-Bay and Won another Tiger TAMIYA Older Kit, in 1/25th Scale! I will Show these TIGER's, on the Forum in a Short while with my NEW Coming Collectors Showcase DAK TOBRUK 1942 Sets!CIAO!

Thanks Oz,i was thinking that but didn't want to be the first to say it!;)

My guess is that John feels the K & C Panzer crews look to big for their Tigers etc and has swung a bit to far the other way. Of course I could be wrong, I think I was once, but I just can't remember when :)

I think that is what I was trying to say but Oz has said it much better.

...more compatible with Collector's Showcase IMO
NP

I read somewhere that Collectors Showcase were going to reduce their figure size, but then they also said they were going to make them less gaunt looking

I read that too, they would have to change their faces a bit before i bought any.A little to Zombified for me at the moement.
