In the North African desert, Rommel has stopped and gotten out of his Horch to inspect a Stuka that is waiting for it's next mission.

I took some of these photos in the dark, and then some in the light with the sky blue wall background.

Thanks mate. The Stuka is from 21st Century and is 1/32 scale. I bought it several years ago (around $20) and just got it out of the box tonight. I was wanting to take some photos of Rommel and the Horch, and thought this would go with it even though it is a little off scale.

Awesome dio. I like it very much. I'm only collecting 1/72 scale diecast fighter planes ( WW2 & Modern) but never bought any 1/32 or 1/30 model planes due to space.

Thanks. Yeah, I have the space problem you are talking about. I've collected lots of 1/48 and 1/72 bombers, and 1/32 and 1/18 fighters/dive bombers over the years and have accumulated quite the air force that takes up LOTS of room! My wife is not too crazy about all the stacked up boxes I have in my storage room.

Looks good Duke. The Stuka is a nice piece, hard to find one these days.

It's good to see great detail with a small price. Simmo.:salute::

Very nicely done:wink2:

I too purchased a number of these 21st Century 1/32 plastic WWII a/c (nearly ALL of them). Four or five of them are Desert variety! My plan is to eventually mate them up in a large diorama, similar to what you've done here. Comparative scale difference not that noticeable (to me, anyway).

Thanks for posting this^&cool

1/32 actually works well with K & C. The old wooden warbirds were all 1/32 and it's really to hard to tell that they don't work with 1/30 figures.

superb dio and great sets. excellent stuka very nicely painted

Thanks guys and I agree that 1/32 planes/vehicles can sometimes work with K&C 1/30 figures. Makes it a nice option for dios.:)

Thanks Mitch. K&C did a great job on the Rommel/Horch set. The Stuka is nicely done by 21st Century. I sometimes will add some painting/weathering to these type sets (like the 1/18 Tiger I in the other thread), but I did no painting on this one (at least not yet:)).
