Definately Ronin, just pales Bullit into obscurity. Just watched them again and the bourne trilogy and Ronin stomps all over those also. Certainly not an exercise in futility as watching them and deciding was interesting and, fun!!

All true. What exactly is your 1970 Shelby clone? I had a 1968 Shelby GT350 that would burn in 1st, 2nd and 3rd until it was totaled by my roommate. What a great sound those cars had; well for that matter what great cars they were. My Jag turbo is of course much faster but still I long for those days.[/Qs UOTE]

I found my Mustang semi trashed about 29 years ago,I wanted a Shelb but it was out of the question for a 69-70.over time I added about 75percent of the body mods,suspension -brake,upgrades etc,,redid the small block,it is quite the screamer and as the cherrybomb muffler co.says,"disturbing the peace for 40 years",photos in my albums,im giving it to my daughter in a few months so she will be the new caretaker after it leaves on a hauler,,Ill devote the old car resto effort to my Tbird,,today I spent a deliteful two hours at a dealership,,hashing over and taking out a 12 -Black ,stripe delete GT,blk leather,Im very close,,Selling my last series Firebird private:salute::ly,,plus also taking out an 08 Gt500 and a white 600 HP Supersnake,with an incredible sounding supercharger,,I believe the writing is on the wall for these fighter planes so Im planning the last ride for an immortal and myself.

The black Charger in Bullett-not ronan,,,was the only big car I ever craved badly.Nice talking to you my friend on the auto forum,,drop by my decorated garage anythime.,,I was once this close to purchasing a 70 Etype ,What fun I could still be having,modifying,retro fitting smiths electrics and the upgraded cooling.

Bullitt vs. Ronin - both great car chases but Bullitt is a believable chase whereas portions of the Ronin chase have Ramboesque qualities. Bullitt wins on realism.^&cool^&grin -- Al

Just saw this recently. Overall, a very entertaining movie.

For car chases, one of my favorite has to be from the movie ‘The Burglars Le Casse’ starring JP Belmondo and Omar Sharif (1971).
