Excited to be asked to display Zulu at a local show in a couple of weeks. Have done a test run and with my ipad providing Zulu sounds from behind the hospital, I am ready to go. Thought you might like to see what I have in mind to display. Robin.

Thanks Guys for all your nice comments & likes. Just need Joe to cap it off, hopefully he will surface soon. This latest diorama has reminded me that Rorke's Drift is complete in respect to the period, although I am missing one Zulu coming over the Kraal (Thrust), but this is hardly an issue, especially since I could not use all my pieces that I had left over, to set the Kraal out correctly, as I ran out of table. I am now moving on to Isandlwana and beyond, hopefully Britain's intends to head in that direction also, so I can pack away Rorke's Drift for awhile. Robin.

That is super! I too have a Rorke's Drift diorama but it isn't anything like as big or as complete as yours. Well done!

Wonderful display Robin, great scene with the large scope of action. Chris

Hi I am a new member but have followed both the Zulu and Nile war disscussions for some time now.

With regard to the Rorke's Drift diorama being completed (yours looks absolutly fantastic by the way) we still lack a couple of characters. We could do with Assistant Commissary Walter Dunn (two Daltons?), Louis Byrne (could be dead), Corporal Attwood Ary Service Corps and Wheeler Cantwell (although could use existing Royal Artillary figure)

Really impressed with the attention to detail of both Britains and their collectors.

Thanks for the many ideas posted which are a great help with my own mini collection.

That is a very impressive diorama, Robin.
Great work :salute::
Hope it will be enjoyed by many visitors.
Cheers!
Konrad

Thanks all so much for your positive comments & likes. I intend to give out at the show plenty of brochures in regard to our 1/30 TS hobby, in the hope it will spark some new collectors, so they will get as much pleasure as we do. Also the selfish part in me wants more collectors to keep the manufacturers profitable, so that new releases are forthcoming across all the series I collect. Naughty naughty, but no one is perfect.^&grin, Robin.
