ROUGH RIDERS – The Charge Up San Juan Hill (1 Viewer)

This was the series that got me interested in collecting something besides WWII. I have everything except the dio piece and a couple of the mounteds. Great series. Shame you're selling it Martyn. If you don't sell it I'd be interested in a couple of the mounteds.

Classic figures and diorama piece. Thanks for posting Martyn!

fantastic report Martyn, many thanks for sharing this awesome series

Great pics! Awesome display! Would like to see us(K&C) do something like these figs with our new series of Roughriders!

Silly Spaniards showed up in their PJs!:p:p Loved the Movie and have a copy of it around here. Great casting in all respects. I have a new Teddy Roosevelt figure and glad to have it. I also like the German Adviser.

Pity, but I'm sure you got a good price Martyn. The RRs have a special spot for me because it was the first non WW II range I became interested in and led me to explore other ranges and companies :wink2:

Wow, i didnt knew the Base was originally for the RR sets.

I was using it for my WWI figurines.

I don't have him, but I've seen a Teddy Roosevelt mounted in Khaki uniform. Is this from the RR set, or from something else?
Thanks

K & C has done three different RRs sets for Kings X.

I think the one you're referring to is the first version (which came in mostly glossy but some matte), with TR accompanied by some Rough Riders; I have this set. Later on in the early 2000s they did the matte series that Martyn had; have this also (although not as many of the mounted figures as Martyn had). A few years ago, after K & C acquired Kings X, they did a couple of figures, TR, a marching solider and a couple of flagbearers. Ran out of room!
