Four Feathers new set just announced by Ana

A Masterpiece!

From Ana:

Dear friends,
We take pleasure in announcing that set FF19 is now available.
We go now to Asia and we land near an Indian river at the times of the British Raj.
A white patrol boat of the Royal Navy armed with a machinegun has “encallado” and all the professional skills of the whole can not put it to sail again.
The three sailors have white trousers and Navy Blue blouse. They are all protected from the strong equatorial sun by a big round straw hat.
The officer in his very elegant Navy Blue “saco cruzado” realizes that the steel and copper steam boiler is not enough to get the boat out of this impasse, and so he decides that forces of nature should be called.
Jaabir, a very experienced mahout is summoned with his powerful elephant Ganapathy.
He puts to work inmediately and in his first try he successfully makes Ganapathy tow the boat.
A young friend of Jaabir and Ganapathy who accompanied them to see their performance runs excitedly near the shore cellebrating their success.

What an unusual set! There are plenty of elephants pulling cannons etc so it’s nice to see something different. Very well done. :)

Wow that certainly is an amazing set! I have to say I am really looking forward to seeing this in a diorama. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Dave

This is a beautiful set by Four Feathers.....very unique.

Thanks, Raymond.:)

What a truly lovely and imaginative piece...and of course it is effective...look where that gun is aiming!!!

Releases like this make me want to completely abandon my World War 2 Collection and trade it completely in for gloss.

Tom

Great set. I am still toying with the idea of investing in Four Feathers, but then Ana also came out with additional elephant guards ....

Ana always comes up with imaginative and different ideas. It's a mini diorama in and of itself.

Beau Geste are the only gloss figures I have and, they are IMO the best ever produced. Another excellent set
Mitch

This is a really beautiful set. The unusual idea of the elephant disappearing beneath the 'muddy waters' is interesting. I love it.

Gentle Friends,

Without a doubt, Ana and her team produce some of the most creative and wondrous sets of figures. I am usually speechless when I view such sets for the first time and this viewing is no exception. This set is truly a grand work of art.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

I saw some of these sets in person and they are new classics for a glossy collector. I love this piece as a naval collector and as a collector of unique sets. I can see the launch as a stand alone for my gunboat....HOW MUCH? Michael

Hope you're sitting down Michael: $545.

Nurse, give that man some smelling salts!:D

If you say it quick it does not sound so bad but, when you look across the hobby as a whole its not bad priced really.

IMO, its really worth every penny and, I hope I will be adding this to my collection in the very near future
Mitch

Considering what you're getting, you're probably right. I may keep it in the back of my mind for Chicago.

Thank you all, guys. The genious and sculptor behind The Four Feathers is Cristián Pérez Colman. It is him who comes with the amazing ideas.

Ana
