The price is high, but if you are into only a few select pieces and are more in the art category, this is certainly a nice piece. If money was no object, and I liked the Musketeer era, this would be my centerpiece. I think it just looks incredible. Again, I am not willing nor in the market for this type, but boy what a work of art.

Nice piece, and I don't think the price is all that outrageous, given the scope of the work. Hey, at least shipping is free!

you also have to look at where this is made and who things like this are geared to. these "figures" are geared towards very wealthy people and the number one customer of Vityaz is Russian Oligarchs. For them, playing $17k for a piece is not that different from us paying 4200 for a FL mounted figure (when looking at % of income)

That was supposed to $200 for FL (finger slipped off shift)
 
All I can say is you go into any major Museum in any city and you see art hung on the wall consisting of a canvas covered with paint splats and dribbles or various size multi-color cubes and they will tell you this is Millions of dollars in value for each. So when it comes to art.....^&grin
