Russian manufacturers (1 Viewer)

Hello Gentlemen!

I have now started my holiday.
Since my work means a lot of travel, I am now more than happy to be home.

I will post, and send pictures of my figures.

Bought today a spectacular Diorama.

But I must say, that all my life been a Musketeer, " One for all, all for one"

I would really liked to buy the one you showed here.

The price, however was too high, and I guess my children would have put me in a oldery home, and have me put up for insane.

Best wishes Mattis

Hi Mattis

Looking forward to see your collection.

These are rare WW I figures and rare ones tend to go fast. It would not surprise me if these are gone very soon.

Joe, in your opinion, does the fact that they're samples make them less desirable and or valuable.

Hi Brad,
It's so rare to come across Aeroart samples that I believe it makes them more desirable and valuable. I'd put them in the same basket as rejected prototypes, or figures that were painted by Russian artists for Aeroart to consider but for one reason or another never went into production.

Looks like they ended up going for $454 or about $113 each. Given that FL is selling some figures at $70 now, I guess that is not too outrageous.

They sold on a buy it now, which is what I thought would happen.

Gentlemen!

I have a question, maybe not what is usually discussed here, but I will ask you anyway.

I have seen some 120mm model kits of some mounted ACW Generals by Verlinden.
I am thinking of buying some of these, and have them painted in St.Petersburg.
However, I have no experience with Verlinden, and wonder if they are sculptured nicely and of good quality.

Hope someone can help with this question.

Regards Mattis
