Saddam Statue (2 Viewers)

My favorite K&C range is Special Forces, which I *think* I've finally completed, after tracking down the humvee (great piece).

But I keep reading about a fallen Saddam Hussein statue. I've never seen a picture of it, let alone seen it for sale.

My question is - was it ever made? If so, is there a photo or two anyone can point me to.

It's in the catalogue, as part of SF 07, but I can't say I've ever seen it. Perhaps Louis or Lawrence have it and can post a photo.

So far as I am aware, it wasn't commercially available.

I still have not found it on Sagers site anyone posts a pic. Was it full size to scale any info?

It's strange...it's listed in the one brochure that Sager had for SF, but not shown. It's listed as coming with the 3 Republican Guard troops.

I'm wondering if it was a dealer special, a one-off diorama piece, or just something that never made it past the prototype stage.

I never heard of it being made available. I think it may have stopped at the prototype stage, but Andy or Gordon could answer the question better than I.

The statue was never made available at all. Not even to dealers.
