Hi everybody!

I´m not dead - just been extreme busy!

Well, i had this figure with a broken standard and gave it a lot of thought, what to do with him. Just one thing to do - rebuild and repaint!

This is the result! Hope you like it! The small item on top of the "new standard" is a lion head.

Very nice repaint. But, do Muslems have animal images on flag staffs? I am no expert on the era nor the religion, but I do know they don't like human images, I am just wondering about those of animals. But I do like the green harnesses and the black stallion very much.

That's a very nice job on repainting that figure. You are managing to keep yourself very busy painting Crusader figures. For the benefit of others reading this, take a look at the three Templar knights that the Templar has recently placed on the Cross & Crescent socila page. Once again, great job.

I do believe that the Muslim faith forbids the imagery of anything living, considering that to be an afront to God. That is why they use geometric designs in their decorations.

Excellent repaint; great to see you back mate. As to the lion, I took as a spoil of war, for which there may be an exception.

The lion is just temporary. When i get a spare crusader head, the pole will be changed!
