A modified production model of a Soviet IS-7 heavy tank accompanied by Assault Engineers on the offensive in the ruins of a Western European city in a hypothetical WWIII scenario in the 1950s.

The Soviet IS-7 Granite tank (LE300) from First Legion’s World of Tanks series, while not historically accurate, is still a gem of a model. The detailing, paint apps, and weathering are first rate and it’s something wildly different. The Assault Engineer figures and barricades are from War Park while the building ruins, rubble, telephone pole, and terrain base are JG Miniatures products.

Thanks guys! Definitely a scary scene for sure… If one looks closely, you’ll even see some discarded US weapons and tank parts. Had the Cold War turned hot (and it came close a few times in the postwar era) such a scene of Soviet tanks steamrolling across Western Europe could have been entirely plausible… But such a scene seemed appropriate for such a “what if” type of model as First Legion’s IS-7.
