Greetings
I intend to buy a Scroll Saw.
The more that I research
the more unsure of what features it should have.
The Videos on YouTube are helpful.
I would like any insights and recommendations
that you might have.
Thanksmuch

Denver...

a friend of mine bought one of the Micro Mark mini scroll saws...

he said it is not very powerful and is only good for cutting very small pieces of wood...

it's only strong enough to cut balsa wood and light weight grade wood...

not very practical...

Hi Mike
My intention is to build structures.
Corner ruins to be first built and
then , as my ability improves, larger
buildings.
A full size Scroll Saw is probably the tool.

Hello Denver,

I have a scroll saw from Minicraft (not in production anymore) which is suitable for my purposes of cutting thin wood (up to 50mm balsa) or (non-ferrous) metal sheets.

I have seen a Dremel scrollsaw which seems to perform much better. The best scroll saws are those that are fitted (modified) with foot operated speed control for cutting really complex shapes.

Hello
I have ordered a Dremel scroll saw from Home Depot.
It should arrive next week.
Thank you for your suggestions.
