How many would like to see K&C make a special set of USN SEAL Team 6 figures carrying out the raid yesterday?

No thank you!!! and, I would imagine not many manufacturers would go down this line
Mitch

It is quite likely that W. Britains will make one of these for their Elite Forces series.

Are you talking off a set of figures showing the team or, in action against Bin lid??? I could see the former but, not the latter

The team--their heroism needs to be honored.

I fully agree! K&C already issued a "capture of BL" some years ago, and as far as I know nobody set a jihad on them. I already mentioned this shortly ago on a "dispatches today?" thread, and I think that releasing a special forces set depicting SEALS and Deltas are certainly in place. After all this is an iconic historical event, and staying bellow of radar just because of fear of retribution is giving the thug a longer life.... Putting it simply, the ongoing war (which is far from over) was mainly shaped under a reaction to this man`s actions, and the military importance of this raid certainly ranks among the most celebrated operations in war history. Not only do I support whichever toy soldier company that may manufacture such figures as well as I will promptly buy them and display!{sm4}

Not suprisingly, I'll take them, from whichever company does them, in whatever format / setting they do them in.

Have to wonder if we ever find out the identity of the Seal who pulled the trigger? Or would that put him at risk for the rest of his life? I also wonder if maybe bin Laden might have committed suicide once he realized there was no way out. I have heard that his bodyguards were instructed to kill him rather than allow him to be taken prisoner.

OK, you do the SEAL team, but how about the helicopter crews (SEAL teams don't have organic helo assets)? How about the Deltas who might have been on the ground already? The whole affair was a carefully planned team effort. This wasn't a slapdash affair thrown together at the last minute. Imagine "Blackhawk Down" only going as planned. Lots of people contributed to this victory. This could be one BIG set!

A TS set would be cool. But what about the books, movies, t-shirts, etc. The business sales created around this action may well be enough to lift us out of the economic doldrums!

Who plays the Seal Team Lead? Bruce Willis?

Like your thinking Gary. {sm4}

Great! The bigger the better - I want to commemorate and honor them all!

From past actions, they likely had a recon team on the ground to confirm his presence. Staging a operation like this in Pakistan would be a risky venture without real time confirmation that Bin Laden was actually there at the time. Even worse to raid the right place, but while he was out playing golf and tip him off.

No Thank you....Producing Navy Seals yes... OK....Don't even want to see a Bin Laden figure....Disgusting:mad:..... would only wind up smashing it with a hammer:mad:....Not worth the effort and certainly not the money to develop it or collect it...IMO

We could start off with a little of this sort of thing.....

Hasn't thought of that. Would buy the whole JSOC if I could:)

It was stated by K&C that the Special Forces release was too premature for release and as this historical moment now shows the SF02 set is innaccurate...now that the loser is dead lets do an updated version...give me a bloody Bin Laden with a hole in his head and some of these new figures PolarBear speaks of...I'm a buyer! USA USA USA USA USA!!!!!

Why stop there???

You could have Benito Mussolini hanging upside down alongside his wife?

The charred bodies of Hitler, Eva Braun and all those in the bunker in Berlin?

NO, lets not glorify anything with the death of these sort of people!

John
