This past Thursday, my wife and I went to an early afternoon matinee to see Season of the Witch (Nicholas Cage, Ron Pearlman). This was a story/plot that could have had great promise but the script writers, actors, and everyone else involved in its production ruined it. I would not recommend spending any money at the theaters on this one - talk about a major disappointment. My wife actually fell alseep watching it - that's how bad it was. JMHO and nothing more - I generally like Nic Cage movies.

Wow...that must have been really bad if she fell asleep...I have been to movies equally as bad...what a shame...I like Cage...never understood how he went broke with all the work he gets...seems like he does 2-3 movies a year...

I did like his recent movie...the Sorcerer's Apprentice...

I thought this looked good when I first heard about it, but every review I have seen has panned the film. Glad I didn't waste any money on it...

That's a real disappointment as I was looking foeward to seeing it.I think Cage's movies have been steadily going down.I didn't care for Sorcerer's Apprentice and I really thought that one would be good.I can't believe he went broke as he made millions on his comic book collection alone.

I'm watching this right now (On Demand).Don't know if it's going to be any good yet but one glaring error right at the beginning is that they got the Templars fighting battles in the mid-14th cen.when the Templars were disbanded in the early 14th cen.I know movies take liberty with historical facts but come on they could have at least made them Hospitallers.

I watched "Driving Angry" last night...he has officially hit rock bottom...it was hard to finish and I have liked him since "Rumble Fish"...
