Guys

I just bought this today and watched it earlier. I don't know if anyone else has seen it but, I was completely dissapointed. Someone needs to get a decent historical advisor for some of our modern war films.

Should have saved £11 and waited until Sky put it on

I was looking to buy second Front but after reading reviews on the net gave it a miss

It may be others cup of tea but, I was really dissapointed and thought it on par with the 'last jump' which, I should have known was rubbish as it had David Ginola (ex NUFC footballer) in it. Poor script, unrealistic uniforms and, some remarkable german vehicles from I would say the 80's. Apart from that its a not to be missed. It will go down in price but, I should have bought £11 scratch cards. I wish I had read the reviews first!!!

I watched the Last drop again the other night & it get no better
I'm watching A Long Day dying on dvd witch is about British paras fighting there way back from Arnhem & killing German paras on the away ,great film , first saw it when I was at school & was lucky to find a copy this year & stilii great
Have you seen OUTPOST ?

a long day dying is a great film. Outpost the title sounds familiar but, I do not own it so, may have seen bits but cannot remember it which, would mean I have not seen it. Is it worth getting?

What did you think of inglorious basterds It looks great on blue ray on the 40in

Big fan of the tarantino stuff so, it was a must for me. I thought Pitt played a stonker of a role and although many of my mates said it was rubbich I thought it was great.

The best scene was at the start with the excellent dialogue about rats etc. First rate. I agree about blue ray just moved it all up another notch. Mine is the same size I went from 32 up did not think it would really make much difference but, it does.

If you like Nazi zombies you should check out a Norwegian film called 'Dead Snow' (2009). Not bad if you like your genres mixed and don't mind subtitles.

There was a Swedish movie called 'Frostbitten' (Frostbite) on tv recently about some SS Wiking soldiers awakening a vampire and what happens later. Wasn't bad for a low budget film, and pretty funny in parts.
