The AVG P40 landed today, and joins her RAF mate at the local airfield. Think the paint scheme is very good. Chris

Chris mate,
I'm with you. Great photos of the two best Poly Warbirds that K&C has released. A tough choice between the two, but if I had to choose I would go with the Desert version but then with a change of insigna I can vision the green camo version serving with the RAAF in the Pacific Islands.:smile2:
Still both outstanding releases. Enjoy.
Cheers Howard

I would find it hard not to buy a P40 RAAF in the pacific. Simmo.

Nice birds Chris and if K&C were to produce a Aussie RAAF version that was based in Darwin then i would find it hard to not buy one!

Two dangerous looking birds Chris. Would like to collect planes as well, but I do not have the space for them
guy:(

Thanks, I'm very plsd with these two warbirds. And I know what you mean Guy, space is becoming very limited and wife won't let me expand into the guest bedroom. :rolleyes2: Chris

Outstanding pictures, Chris. As I write this, my AVG P-40 is winging it's way towards me and should land on the 31st (with any luck). I think both craft look fantastic but I am really thrilled that KC did the AVG model. The P-40B is my favorite Allied plane of WW2 and the Flying Tiger is the ultimate version of it. Congratulations on having both of these fine models. -- Al

Nice pics. The RAF version is my favourite warbird, what a great looking plane. The AVG version is awesome too and I'd get it if it weren't for lack of space/$! :( The acccompanying pilot looks good too, really like his jacket. I wonder what those men (AVG)would think today if they saw what China has become? Thanks to their sacrifices its has become an ecomomic superpower and ofcourse allows K&C to create these fine collectibles! {sm4} P.S. For those who care about such things Canadians fought to defend Hong Kong from Imperial Japan during WWII.

Chris,

Do you have a favorite. Would be hard to choose.

Hi Al, well, we're both down two aircraft, we know what those are. :wink2: I think the P-40 (any variant) is my second favorite acft, after the P-39. Congrats on your new arrival.

THanks Cyber, they are great looking models.

Chris,

Brad, I like both paint schemes, but if I had to choose it would probably be the AVG version. More due to the unique unit history than the actual model itself. Chris

These are great looking models. I agree with you that my choice would probably be the AVG version. Thanks for posting.

Both are very very nice. I like the Flying Tiger one.

Chris,

Thanks. One will be arriving soon, courtesy of George. I have the Wooden desert P40 so looking forward to this one.

Brad

The RAF version is for me, the most pleasing to the eye
