This is a relatively new freight company in Australia, at least to me, and I was wondering what other members think of the company.

I recently purchased something on ebay which was sent to me via Sendle, apparently now the default carrier for ebay in Australia, but I could be wrong as ebay can be cryptic sometimes.

Anyhow I was initially optimistic based on the delivery schedule listed on their tracking site, albeit a bit longer than Australia Post. However my optimisim changed to anger when the tracking stated the parcel was onboard for delivery last Thursday, and it didn't arrive that day. I lodged a complaint and Sendle started an investigation into the missing parcel. I wasn't contacted by the company however the parcel did eventually arrive Saturday Morning, that's Six days to travel 100 Kilometeres (60 Miles).

Was I unlucky, or is this usual with this company?

Mate, I do not have a letterbox; I have to go to the PO for everything. One day, lucky it was my RDO, a bloke knocked on my door, and it was this company.
I asked what would have happened if I wasn't home, and he replied, "The parcel would have gone back to Perth depot for me to pick up." I live 2+ hours from them by car, so I'm not a fan of them not going to the post office to leave parcels when I'm not home.

They left my parcel at the door, it was marked ATL (Authority To Leave), I guess I was lucky with that. I'm still waiting on another Sendle parcel, let's see how long that takes to arrive.

From here on I won't buy anything sent via Sendle, and I won't use them to pickup/send either. My Post Office is within 2km of my house, so I'm lucky that way if I'm not home to sign for anything or whatever.
