Martyn,
Do you happen to know which pose this is? And, is it the one in the set of Indunas?

Hi Mike

I've no idea, I was at Lynn's yesterday and he gave me a Trophy supplement catalogue which had all the new releases from 1998 to 2003 and this was one of the new additions. Unfortunately there was no picture of this set, there were pictures of BD11, BD10, ZS57 series etc. I was hoping your good self, Joe or Damian may have the figure

Cheers

Martyn:)

Martyn,
I will certainly take up your mystery case , pro bono. :D I vaguely recall seeing something, somewhere on this fella. I'll see what I can dig up when I go home later. I'm sure the other TF detectives are also on the case;):)

Thanks mate

We know there's a 37 and 39. Any others, Martyn?

No other AZW Mike, just this one:confused:

The Catalogue does have a mountain of info about TEL-EL-KEBIR, WOLSELEY'S ARMY, THE DERVISH ARMY, EGYPTIAN CAMEL CORPS, OMDURMAN and THE KHALIFA'S CHARGE sets.

Cheers

Martyn:)

If it helps track down a picture here is a copy of the info page from the catalogue

Thanks Martyn,
Neat catalog! And the figure is supposed to represent Mehlokazulu, famed source of a heck of a lot of info on the battle, from the Zulu side. This ups the ante:cool:

Good Morning Martyn.

Sorry, but I am afraid I also do not have an image of ZS38 to post.

I was just wondering if you have an image of BD11 "Saving the Colours".

If so, may I ask if you would be kind enough to post it.

I shall be eternally grateful.

Cheers, Raymond.

:)

I'm hoping Martyn can give you a better show, Raymond:eek:

Hi Mike,

Thanks very much for the image in super fast time too.

I just re-read the BD11 description from Martyn's catalogue page.

Unfortunately, it appears the set features only Lt. Melville mounted with the folded colors encased and one Zulu warrior.

I just needed to confirm that that Lt. Coghill mounted is not included.

Best, Raymond.

:)

Does Lynn have an e-mail address?:)

I'd like to talk to the man behind all the action:D

I don't think Coghill is included in that set.

Hi Raymond

Damian is quite right, there is no Coghill included in the set.

Here is my attempt at recreating the event using set BD11 along with the Mounted Officer from set number MTDRA3

OMG:eek:That actually looks like the scene from Zulu dawn:Dbecause one of the Zulus has a 24th helmet on!:D

That's relly good!:D

I'm not even into Zukus anymore, but even I am finding the fact that we can't find a pic of this Zulu figure very interesting:D

Lets keep it going!:D
