SET no. ZS38 (1 Viewer)

Hi Raymond

Damian is quite right, there is no Coghill included in the set.

Here is my attempt at recreating the event using set BD11 along with the Mounted Officer from set number MTDRA3

Hi Martyn,

The image is just superb.

Yes, the set BD11 features only Lt. Melville mounted with the folded colours and one Zulu warrior.

I knew that I could count on Mike, Damian and your goodself.

Thanks very much.

Cheers, Raymond.

OMG:eek:That actually looks like the scene from Zulu dawn:Dbecause one of the Zulus has a 24th helmet on!:D

That's relly good!:D

I'm not even into Zukus anymore, but even I am finding the fact that we can't find a pic of this Zulu figure very interesting:D

Lets keep it going!:D

Thank you Raymond and Scott:D

This hunt for set ZS38 is harder than I thought it would be:confused:

Cheers

Martyn:)

Very nicely done Martyn and there's no doubt that you in time will acquire ZS38 Happy Hunting....The Lt.

Martyn,
I've got a call into David Haskell about the ZS38, It was sold a while ago and I want him to see if he had an extra photo...
Mike

Martyn,
David does not have the photo anymore of ZS38:( Will continue the search...

Cheers Mike

I've spoken to our mutual friend;) and he told me that he believes the set was never produced.

Cheers again

Martyn:)

Martyn,
I tracked down the owner and have contacted him in the hopes of a picture...
Mike

You guys are hard core.
I don't think I have ever seen this set.

Martyn,
The owner of ZS38 can't get a picture but says it is the third figure from the left, with a newer base. This figure is the heavyset guy in between the Senior Indunas and the far-left ZS51 Dabulamanzi...
Mike

Hi Mike

That is the same Induna from ZS28 and ZS28A with a different base.

Thanks for solving that one, I can sleep peacefully.:D

Cheers mate

Martyn:)

Yep, just packaged singly in the newer base and labbelled Mehkalazulu of
iNgobamakhosi. And the box to prove it. No idea where I got mine, as the owner stated he picked it out of my picture:eek:
Mike

Here's he is as the figures side by side from sets ZS28 and ZS28A Mike and Martyn and seems Martyn you came up with your photo from your treasure chest of photos as well as you Mike while I just put them together in front of my camera. Boy we sure do like resolving mysteries.:rolleyes:...The Lt.
